How we got here

We met at work

We met while working together at Oakmont of Novato, a senior living community. Two coworkers became good friends, and good friends became something more.

The proposal

Tristan proposed at Viansa Winery. It was one of his first jobs, and he worked there for many years, so there was no better place to ask.

A surprise party

Afterward, both of our families were waiting with a surprise engagement party on the Sonoma Plaza. Tristan grew up going there as a kid. His grandparents live just down the street, and his dad grew up there too.

The ceremony is a Catholic Mass. Please plan to arrive by 3:00 so we can begin on time.

Parking: Park in the main guest lot (2) next to the church. If it's full, overflow parking is up the east road (5), with more lots (6 and 7) just past the main driveway (3).
Getting there: Just off Highway 101 in north San Rafael. Open in Google Maps
Arrival: Please arrive by 3:00 PM and enter the church at the entrance marked 1 on the map. The Mass begins at 3:30.

After the ceremony

The courtyard

After the Mass, walk over to the courtyard lawn (4) for cocktails, dinner and dancing. The bars, DJ and dance floor are at the north end, the buffet and dessert tables are on the west lawn, and dinner tables fill the garden.

Coming from out of town?

We recommend staying near the Marin Civic Center, a short drive from the venue.

Questions & answers

What should I wear?

Formal garden party. Think suits, dresses and florals. Parts of the evening are outdoors in the courtyard, so block heels or wedges are a good idea, and bring a layer for when the sun goes down.

Are kids invited?

Yes! Children are welcome. We'd love to celebrate with your whole family.

What's for dinner?

Dinner is served buffet style, so there's no meal to choose ahead of time. If you have a dietary restriction or allergy, let us know when you RSVP.

Where do I park?

The main guest lot is right next to the church entrance. If it fills up, there's overflow and additional parking close by. See the venue map above.

How long is the ceremony?

The ceremony is a full Catholic Mass, so plan for about an hour. Cocktails start right after.
